Easy Canvas Prints

If you ever want to print pictures onto a canvas use http://www.easycanvasprints.com/  My dad printed off a couple cools ones of me playing soccer and also printed a picture I took at Rio Tinto when I watched Real Salt Lake play LA Galaxy.

David Moyes

I sure have't posted for a while because I made my high school's JV soccer team and it takes up a lot of time combined with all my homework. I decided to make a post about my favorite club, Manchester United, firing manager David Moyes. I think that it was a good tactical move. Moyes only had a 55 win percentage. That won't cut it with the club who won the Barclays Premier League the season before. Moyes wasn't the manager needed for this season. He didn't accomplish much with Everton so why was he "The Chosen One?" The only two players that Moyes bought was Marouane Fellaini and Juan Mata. Mata was a good purchase but Fellaini isn't the player United needed. United needed a new center back. It will be interesting to see how Ryan Giggs will do in these last couple games of the season.

Mario Balotelli's New Cleat

image
This is the new cleat that Mario Balotelli was wearing against Roma. The cleat is covered in newspaper headlines about himself. Seems like something a very humble person would come up with. Balotelli has had a contract with Nike but it is coming to an end so nobody is really sure who made this cleat. Soccer Cleats 101 thinks that it might be Puma. For more information you can click on either here or here. Fox Soccer is the first link and Soccer Cleats 101 is the second link.

MLS Cup Final

On Saturday Real Salt Lake and Sporting Kansas City played in the MLS cup final. It was in the middle of the day which seemed like a weird time. I wasn't able to watch the game because I was in California for the Western Regional Footlocker race for Cross Country. Both teams scored only one goal in regulation and overtime. Sporting Kansas City won the MLS cup in a penalty shoot out. You can watch the shoot out above. If Saborio had hit his PK then I think Real Salt Lake would have won. Palmer's shot should have gone in. Usually if the ball hits the crossbar on a PK it goes in but not this time. I hate when players do a stutter step on there PK. Velasquez did a stutter step and his shot ended up being blocked.

Good Game

This Sunday Manchester City plays Tottenham Hotspurs. I think that this will be a great game. If you wan't to see a play by play of the game click here. If you click on that link now and scroll down just a little more than half the page you can see stats from the last time these two teams have played each other. It has been more than one year ago though so it will be interesting to see who will win. The stats are very cool. I like how they display shots on goal and shots off target.
